She moves for the crown

In honor of my new friend Juel Hayes! I met Juel at a conference and the way she praised and danced for the Lord really moved my spirit to put these words on paper.

She crowns him King of Glory

with her dance and praise

with every fiber of her Spirit

that says Jesus

I submit and surrender to

the power of your Heavenly ways

Jesus, it is your movement in her

that gives a voice to the voiceless

it is your movement in her that has us

lift our hands high in praise

it is your movement in her that stills our hearts

until we fall to our knees from the

love, joy and peace of your heavenly ways

Lord, thank you for this woman

who crowns you king of glory

with such courage, passion and joy

from being filled with the message

of your eternal ways

Holy Spirit we ask

that you keep working in her

and moving in us

would you move us more and more

to seek you

to know you

and to move us

closer to you

closer to your character

closer to your humility

closer to your kindness

so we just let go

until we are transformed

from glory to glory

each day resembling just a bit more of

of the glory of you

so on this night I thank you Lord

for how you formed your daughter

for how you formed her to move

that inspires us to move not just in motion

but to move by how your goodness

and mercy ignites every part of our Spirit

and our every emotion

Lord Jesus, thank you for using Juel

to keep our attention on you and only you

lifting our eyes up to crown you

King of Glory

until all we can do is participate, praise and move

in the only movement we know to be true

the movement to become

more and more like you
